Dear Reader,

The key differentiators of accuracy, productivity and profitability remain as relevant as ever to the supply chain function. However, whilst the drivers may not change, the ways technology can help businesses leverage the advantages they bring is continually evolving. And Zetes aims to be at the forefront of these developments, striving to enable our customers to maximise their existing investments in IT.

For example, by helping you to derive greater value from SAP. L’Oréal achieved this with the integration of voice directed picking, as did Sun Chemical with a Print & Apply solution. Combining a variety of technologies is another successful approach - Hendersons saw a rapid return from their integration of voice picking with scanning and Proof of Delivery to achieve complete traceability across their supply chain. For mobile workers based in the field, this creativity creates a new range of benefits, as seen among the delivery drivers at TNT and Torrestir. And finally, at The Port of Hamburg, using truck mounted terminals combined with RFID has resulted in a highly automated trans-shipment system.

I hope you will enjoy reading Zetes Globe and find inspiration in the different customer stories we are showcasing in our autumn edition.
